Forest House —- Cascade Mountains

A young couple who enjoy the outdoors asked for a Landscape House where they could feel connected to the trees and filtered views of the Cascade Mountains beyond. The house is a series of interconnected single story pavilions that follow the natural topography and erase the boundary between indoor and outdoor space.

The property Master Plan includes landscape design, architectural reconfiguration of upper and lower floors, and a pool terrace and outdoor patio.

The original house had great bones but was disconnected from the outdoors. The kitchen and dining were reconfigured and opened up to a new terrace overlooking Lake Washington.
